ACID PEEL is a gentle, chemical acid peeling (chemoexfoliation).

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) and BHA, or Beta Hydroxy Acids, are acids used in chemical peels.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) are often referred to as “fruit acids” due to their occurrence in fruits. They act on an epidermal and dermal level, have an abrasive effect on the stratum corneum and at the same time stimulate the skin’s own moisture production.

Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHA) such as salicylic acid occur naturally in the form of derivatives in many plants and are added because of their keratolytic and comedolytic (blackhead-dissolving) effects.

Salicylic acid is particularly effective at dissolving horny cell aggregates in the upper part of the hair follicle, thereby reducing comedones.

They gently remove the top layer of skin and smooth the skin without causing irritation or irritating it. PHA acids also have moisturizing properties as they are able to bind water and keep the skin hydrated. In addition, they can help improve skin tone and texture by removing dead skin cells and promoting the natural cell renewal process.

What should be considered before a fruit acid peel?
